Knistern

In January 2004 the label KNISTERN from Hamburg, Germany, released its first single. The label considers itself a platform for contemporary cross-over music. The name KNISTERN - German for "to crackle" - is programmatic: on the one hand, a crackle is generated by the tension created through the mixing and contrasting of rock with electronic music, Neue Musik and jazz. On the other hand, all records are released on 7" vinyl.
