Wohlgroth

Squat in Zürich, Switzerland. The occupation of the Wohlgroth-area in Zürich was the biggest squat in Swiss history, lasting from May 1991 till its violent evacuation in September 1993. Five buildings were open for public and served social and cultural programs like a 'common folk kitchen', emergency bedding, library, cinema and podium. At the time of closure around 100 people lived in the squat.
