Typorg
Настоящее имя: Typorg
Typorg was the first Hungarian "gmk" in the printing industry. (Gmk stands for gazdasági munkaközösség, literally translates to "economic work-community" similar to a co-op, a unique business form in 1980s Hungary, an option to open a private - non-state owned - enterprise.) The company existed from April 20, 1982 till January 1, 1990, although in reality it continued for years after it legally terminated. Company full name: TYPORG-Tipográfiai és reklámtervezési tevékenységet Szolgáltató Gazdasági Munkaközösség (literally: TYPORG-Typographic and Advertisement Design Service Economic Work-community).
The "work-community" in reality was János Polgár and a few coworkers, who acted as a broker, connecting Hungaroton and several Hungarian printing companies. Hungaroton delivered material ready for print, Typorg organized that the printed material (jackets, inserts) arrived at the desired quality and quantity in time to Dorogi Hanglemezgyár. For this reason use Manufactured By or Made By – Typorg on releases.
