West Hartford Ballroom

This venue has been called the Columbia Music Hall (1973–1975), Hard Rock Cafe (1978–1979), Stage West (1979–1982), Agora Ballroom / Agora Theatre / West Hartford Agora / West Hartford Ballroom / West Hartford Ballroom & Music Hall (1982–1989) and probably other names at different times over the years. The building was built in 1963 as a bowling ballroom and in the early 1970s it was renovated and turned into a concert hall. It could hold about 1,500 people.
