Ry-Ho
Настоящее имя: Ry-Ho
1970s label from Romulus, Michigan.
Tennessee-born singer and bandleader Loyd (Lloyd) Howell (1932-2008), along with bassist Don Rye (d. 2007), owned the Ry-Ho studio and record label, booking country music talent shows in Detroit with Ry-Ho Records as sponsor. Ry-Ho recording contracts were given as prizes to the winners. Howell was the same man who cut a rockin' version of ''Little Froggy Went A-Courtin''' for the Nashville label (a Starday subsidiary) in 1961, as well as singles on Fortune with his band the Brite Stars, like ''Don't Hang Around'' and ''Truck Driving Jack'' (on Fortune subsidiary Hi-Q).
