Argentine label active from March 13, 1913 to 1917.
Atlanta is registered in 1912 as a German trademark by Dacapo-Record Company M.B.H., however it is not used for any known records. Alfredo Amendola, looking to start a record company in Argentina, opens a deal with the company in exchange for recording material and permission to use some label artwork. The record store and studios Amendola & Cia. are opened. Soon after Dacapo is adquired by Carl Lindström A.-G. and Altanta's records are produced at their factory Odeon Werke.
From 1913 to 1915 or 1916 Atlanta recorded popular music of Buenos Aires artists, including the first recordings of Roberto Firpo and others. In 1916 Odeon Werke closes and Amendola enters a deal Brazilian Fábrica De Discos Saverio Leonetti, who owner Amendola was already acquainted with. New records stopped appearing after in 1917.
The vast mayority of recordings were made in 1912, and roughly 75% of the catalogue was released on the opening of Casa Amendola.
