JMS Records

Label from Vienna, Austria owned by one Josef «Muff» Sopper, with chief director credited as: Harry Fuchs, existing circa 1980 to 1994. JMS Records was part of the Vereinigte Österreichische Musikförderer (V.Ö.M.) group of companies, also including the labels: Planet Music, Rock Box and Tonau Records. The label name variably appears as JMS, JMS Records or JMS-Records (or is not named at all except as a catalogue number prefix). JMS Records was distributed by V.Ö.M. / Juke-Box with products manufactured by Koch. Not to be confused with the French label: Disques JMS, aka JMS or JMS.
