Thylejren

Danish community near the village of Frøstrup, Northern Jutland. Established as a hippie encampment in the summer of 1970 it gradually developed into a more permanent settlement with DIY houses, still upholding the hippie-ideal after almost 50 years of existence. The community hosted a music festival in the summer of 1970, inspired by the Isle Of Wight Festival and the Woodstock Festival.
