Optrom, Inc.

Optrom, Inc., headquartered in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, was a manufacturer and seller of masters (stampers) for CD-ROMs, DVDs, and optical discs. The company was also famous for manufacturing CDs and DVDs produced and sold by Being, Inc., a label belonging to B'Z, Zard, Mai Kuraki and others, since around 1995, but withdrew from CD and DVD manufacturing in September 2015. (The last CD manufactured was La Pompon's single JBCZ-6027.) Known SID codes: mastering code IFPI L302, L303, L304, L305 and mould code IFPI 48xx The matrix shows alphanumeric characters OPxxxx or OPxxxxA, where the lot number starts with "OP" (the first letter of Optrom). However, if the mould code is not IFPI 48xx, this lot number will be different.
