Custom Record Manufacturing Co.
Настоящее имя: Custom Record Manufacturing Co.
Vinyl pressing and cassette duplicating plant in Los Angeles, California (USA).
Originally known as "Crown/Kent", it started out as the manufacturing arm of the Bihari Brothers' Modern Records (2), pressing for its associated labels. In late 1967 the company started custom pressing and added Liberty, United Artists Records, Paula Records and Tahati to its clients, while remaining to press the Modern budget and regularly priced merchandise. Earlier that year the factory had started cassette duplication for its own product, also opening up for custom orders by the end of the year.
The plant operated 80 presses for both LPs and singles. It also housed a recording and mastering studio and plating department. (Among its clients, Liberty and UA would provide their own lacquers.)
