Rockingchair Records
Настоящее имя: Rockingchair Records
Rockingchair Records was a record label founded by musician and producer Mark Yoshida and his business partner, musician and graphic artist Brandon Seavers in December of 1994. The two musicians were then playing together in the Six Million Dollar Band. The production company was first based in Memphis, Tennessee but relocated briefly to Nashville, Tennessee. The company was named after Yoshida's recording studio, Rockingchair Studios, which he had founded in 1989. Also in December of 1994, Yoshida and Seavers founded a production company, Rockingchair Productions at the same time as Rockingchair Records. In September of 1997, Yoshida and Seavers purchased the Audio MasterWorks, Memphis facility and renamed it AudioGraphic MasterWorks. Rockingchair Records was then headquartered at AudioGraphic MasterWorks, which acted as an umbrella company for all the Rockingchair companies. Rockingchair Records continued to release music until the early 2000's but shifted it's focus to solely releasing Yoshida's music by Sallymacs. The Rockingchair company's legal counselor was David Moser (2). In 2014, Yoshida and Seavers opened a vinyl manufacturing plant called Memphis Record Pressing.
