A.k.a. 'Das Neue Schauspielhaus', 'Theater am Nollendorfplatz' and 'Goya', depend how it was used.
Located in Berlin, Germany, existed already since 1905/1906 as a former theatre, striptease-club and bordell, named 'Das Neue Schauspielhaus', also called 'Theater am Nollendorfplatz' by that time. In 1951 renamed to 'Metropol', later it became a discotheque (in the 1980ies). From 1980 on it was used mainly as a live venue for rock concerts. Bands played there like [a2725] on 26th, march 1982, they performed their first Berlin concert to promote the debüt-LP or [a6520] and The Psychedelic Furs on 4th, november 1981, U2 announced as a boy-group (it´s true), still not as famous as they got later and [a28972], Die Ärzte, The Human League, Front 242 or the mysterious The Residents, in 1983 already more than 10 years on the road, amongst many others, just to name a few. In 2005 they changed their name to 'Goya' as the new name for a restaurant and dance-club.
