Editorial Alpuerto

Spanish label used on records from music score publisher and book editor from Madrid. Formally as "Editorial Alpuerto, S.A. Founded by Prudencio Ibáñez Campos and Adolfo Álvarez in 1974. In its first stage, after the brief incorporation of Luciano González Sarmiento, it dedicates special attention to the publication and dissemination of contemporary symphonic music scores by living Spanish authors. Soon it expands its activity with publications on Musical Pedagogy, Musicology, Practical Music and also on Art and Literature. For years he maintains a close relationship with the Spanish Society of Musicology (SEdeM) and co-publishes with the Fundación Caja Madrid the prestigious Spanish Musical Heritage collection.
