Lumi Records was founded in 1993 by Jori Hulkkonen, Jukka Hautamäki, and Ari Ruokamo (aka Ari Jukka). Between 1993-1995 they released three infamous vinyl compilations, including tracks from various local Finnish artists. The label was put on hold, after a period of time, until 1999 when Ari restarted the label.
