Cyan Worlds Inc.

Cyan Worlds is a video game label located in Mead, Washington (USA). It was founded by brothers Rand and Robyn Miller in 1987. Until 1997 the company was called Cyan, Inc., but it was changed into Cyan Worlds Inc. The company is best known for their best-selling games Myst (1993) and Riven: The Sequel To Myst (1997), which sold well over 15 million copies worldwide and won almost all prices a videogame can win. In 2007, around the time Myst V: End Of Ages was released, the company was nearly bankrupt, which led to the firing of almost all the staff and a restart of the company. At the moment Cyan Worlds is busy releasing online games and bringing URU Live back online.
