Collection Du Jazz Club Français
Настоящее имя: Collection Du Jazz Club Français
Vinyls collection recorded in Paris and published between 1941 and 1945 by the Jazz Club Français, affiliated to the Jazz Club de Belgique, under the labels Disques ABC Paris in France and Decca in Belgium.
Decca Belgique, managed by Armand Barigant (Yvonne Blanc’s husband), was the owner of the copyrights of the music which was supposed to be released in Belgium only. Because of the ambiguous and narrow connection between the two clubs, the music was also published in France with altered credits.
Barigant was accused by Charles Delaunay of exploiting the close connection of the clubs to transfer the benefits to France in order to open cabarets and compete with the Hot Club de France.
