1960s label from Los Angeles, California, owned by William Stevenson. Venture Records Inc. was incorporated on October 2, 1967, in California as a department of MGM Records for their Soul and Funk acts. It was lead by William "Mickey" Stevenson until 1969, when the label was closed. In this time Clarence Alexander Avant worked for the label before founding Sussex. Distributed by MGM Records, Inc.
