Surprise Attack Records

Label founded by Eric Michael Schauffele (aka EMS) who used to play bass in hardcore band Brother's Keeper, Smoke And Mirrors, and is currently singing in Human Animal. Often being referred to as SA Mob, Surprise Attack Records played an important role in the Erie PA "Lake Effect" hardcore scene, putting out classic releases by the likes of xDisciplex, Shockwave, and of course Brother's Keeper. The label also branched out and released many international bands in an era when many labels wouldn't take that chance.
