Laissez-faire Media Arts & Communications is not so much a sub-label as a precursor to Blood 'n' Tongue. This business entity was used beginning in 1987 with the release of the Define By Example compilation. It was used as a label entity until 2003 when it was essentially replaced by Blood 'n' Tongue for all future releases.
