German plant for aluminum systems in Vogt near Ravensburg, founded in 1952 by brothers Karl and Paul Uhl, named in memory of their father Josef Uhl and two friends as well as work colleagues. BUG was created from the first letters of the names Bertsch, Uhl and Großerode.
