Late-1980s series by BGP Records spanning only four volumes which were compiled by Baz Fe Jazz and Gilles Peterson. In spite of the title, the series focus is soul-jazz and jazz-funk from late 1960s and early 1970s, taken mainly from the Fantasy and Prestige catalogues.
