The regional charitable public foundation "Lyudmila Zykina Foundation" was founded in 1998 in Moscow by the People's Artist of the USSR Lyudmila Georgievna Zykina, a world–famous performer of Russian folk songs, as well as beautifully executed stylizations of folk and classical music. The Foundation was created with the aim of popularizing Russian national culture, developing it and carefully preserving the roots and foundations of Russian identity. The Foundation has always been engaged in concert, competition, festival and educational activities, worked with the most famous orchestras and musical performers.
