A music label and talent management agency, co-founded by Kevin Liles, Lyor Cohen, Todd Moscowitz and Roger Gold. 300 was created in early 2012 and incorporated as a limited liability company in 2014. Atlantic Recording Corporation, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, distributed 300's releases on physical media until 2021 when WMG acquired 300 for $400 million and consolidated the label's operations with that of Elektra Records.
300 Entertainment is best known for their work with signed and/or managed artists such as Highly Suspect, Coheed And Cambria, Panama (16), Young Thug (2), Gunna, Fetty Wap, Cheat Codes and Megan Thee Stallion.
As of 2022, co-founder Kevin Liles, former president of Def Jam Recordings and EVP of Warner Music, is the chairman and CEO of 300 Elektra Entertainment (3EE), the merger of 300 and Elektra under WMG. Fellow compadre Lyor Cohen, former president of the Island Def Jam Music Group and CEO of WMG, left the company in 2016 to become head of global music at Google's social video platform, YouTube. Todd Moscowitz, co-founder of 300, EVP of A&R at Def Jam, VP of Asylum/Warner Records, and general manager of Violator Management, is no longer affiliated as he launched his own music company, Alamo Records (5), in 2015. Roger Gold, former chairman and CEO of recorded music at WMG and COO of operations at the NFL, has been vice president of 300 Entertainment since its foundation until 2020, when he became SVP of Columbia Records.
