Morgil

New York-based label formed by Mort Gilbert and Joe Hintz, begun in December of 1961. Gilbert had been producing masters for indie record companies and writer Hintz owned two publishing firms: Nocturne Music Co. and Dove Music. The pair, who will share A&R duties and the managaing of talent, are on the lookout for new talent, masters and original material. The first single would be two instrumentals written by Gilbert & Hintz, "Cha Cha Long Beach" and "Dingle Dangle".
