1950-1956 One of the very first labels for Congolese Rumba founded in 1950 by the brothers Gabriel and Joseph Benatar . Sold in 1955 to 'Dino' Antonopoulos who found with this catalogue "Les Editions Esengo" in january 1957. Formerly known as "Kina" (1949) and renamed Opika in 1950. Many Opika shellacs were issued in France by La Voix De Son Maître and have catalogue numbers that starts with "KIP".
