Gino

Club in Stockholm, Sweden. Sometimes credited as Club Gino. Many performances have been recorded here and have this listed as a recorded at location. Entertainment was offered for decades in this Carl Bergsten-designed property. In October 1993, PG Nilsson, who had built up Tranan and PA & Co opened the Gino rock club. Bands like Teenage Fanclub, Oasis, Fugees, Radiohead, Green Day, Weezer, Afghan Whigs and Björk performed on stage - as well as Swedish Indie bands like Popsicle. Harry Byrne was band booker After Gino, an advertising agency took over the room. Later, Furniture Shop Norrgavel moved in. The entrance is moved and the old dark backstage area in the basement is untouched. The balcony rack is still left and the beautiful curved shape of the balcony section.
