Started by Bessie Oakley (Reno, NV / Wildwood, NJ, former bass player of the Wrecks), Mike Trouchon (Davis, CA), and Kristina Bohn (Davis, CA) who then persuaded Billy Rubin (Long Beach, CA / vocals of Half Off) to join them. Their pal Ray Cappo of Youth Of Today was also involved in the early stages of the label as an A&R scout (However, when it came time to release a Warzone (2) e.p., Bessie and Mike wanted to branch away from "youth crew" hardcore, so [m499143] became the first release on Ray and Jordan Cooper's Revelation Records (8)). After the third release ([r1729635]), Bessie and Kristina faded back and Mike and Billy ran the label, with Billy eventually taking over day-to-day operations.
