Started by Bessie Oakley (Reno, NV / Wildwood, NJ, former bass player of the Wrecks), Mike Trouchon (Davis, CA), and Kristina Bohn (Davis, CA) who then persuaded Billy Rubin (Long Beach, CA / vocals of [a1194746]) to join them. Their pal Ray Cappo of [a259977] was also involved in the early stages of the label as an A&R scout (However, when it came time to release a Warzone (2) e.p., Bessie and Mike wanted to branch away from "youth crew" hardcore, so [m499143] became the first release on Ray and Jordan Cooper's Revelation Records (8)). After the third release (..Nightmare), Bessie and Kristina faded back and Mike and Billy ran the label, with Billy eventually taking over day-to-day operations.
