Circustheater

Former Circusgebouw, Scheveningen which was refurbished into a theatre in 1965 and subsequently renamed. At the end of 80's the theatre was under threat of closure but eventually was bought in 1991 for the symbolic price of one guilder by theatre / tv producer Joop van den Ende and two partners and since then has been the home for many musical / theatre productions. Due to changes of sponsorship the theatre underwent the following name changes: VSB Circustheater - until 2004. Fortis Circustheater - from 2004 until 2010. AFAS Circustheater - from 2010 onward.
