Reissue and bootleg label, founded in 1950 by Dante S. Bolletino, a New York jazz enthusiast. Mr. Bollettino, born in 1928, started his first record company Paradox in 1948 and operated various jazz labels, like Jolly Roger, Pax Records (4) and British Rhythm Society. Columbia and Louis Armstrong sued Paradox Industries, NYC, for bootlegging in February 1952 and Mr. Bollettino had to close down the labels.
