Erika Records is a vinyl record manufacturer which, for a time, offered CD manufacturing services. The www.erikarecords.com name appears in the matrix area of some CDs and can be credited using a holistic Manufactured By or Made By role. The CD glass mastering and pressing was actually outsourced to Rainbo Records, or to Disc Manufacturing, Inc. (DMI, which was taken over by Cinram in 1997). These companies should only be credited if there is an explicit mention of their names on the disc. For example, a mention of DISC MFG, INC. (H) or RAINBO in the matrix can be entered as a Glass Mastered At credit for Disc Manufacturing, Inc., Huntsville or Rainbo Records, and RAINBO/CA on the hub/clamping ring can be interpreted as Pressed By - Rainbo Records. SID codes are not allowed to be used to infer manufacturers, as per [g5.2.d].
