Midsummer Madness

midsummer madness (all lowercased) started as a fanzine in 1989, focusing on Brazilian independent bands. In 1991, a compilation home made cassette titled "Raw" was released with edition 4 of the fanzine. It featured songs from Second Come and Killing Chainsaw's demo-tapes, plus a mixtape with Jesus & Mary Chain, Velvet Underground, The Telescopes songs. Home-made cassette #2 came out in 1993, titled "Slowly Making You Want It", attached to edition #6 of the fanzine. In 1994 they debuted as a cassette label with Drivellers second demo tape, "Cachorrona" and The Cigarettes' "Felicia + Foolish Things and Blah Blah Blah" following few months later. First CDs came out in 1997: The Cigarettes debut "Bingo" and Pelvs second album "Members to Sunna".
