Independent cinema for film and video art and occational also venue for performances and music gigs, run by "Freunde der Deutschen Kinemathek e.V.". Operational at Welser Str. 48, Berlin Schöneberg from January 1970 till February 2000 (the first cinema opened in 1922 in the same spot). After that the Arsenal moved to the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz where it still resides.
