JJJ is derived from the initials of the surnames Jan Tuijp, Jan Keizer and Jack Veerman, bandmembers of BZN. JJJ Home Studio was located in the attic of the former house of Jan Tuijp in Volendam, the Netherlands. The studio was used for the recordings of the lead vocals of tracks by BZN, Jan Smit and [a894903].
