Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (hcmf//) is a British contemporary music festival, founded in 1978 and held annually in partnership with the University of Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, England. It's the largest international festival of new and experimental music in the UK. hcmf// has a wide repertoire of cutting-edge jazz, orchestral, choral and electro-acoustic concerts, as well as dance and theatrical performances. Guest composers who have taken part in the event include Karlheinz Stockhausen, Terry Riley, Brian Eno, John Cage, Steve Reich, Jonathan Harvey, and Harrison Birtwistle.
