Denner

Tiny Swiss Supermarket / club label launched by the small Swiss Denner supermarket chain-store in around 1959, or 1960. Denner has been active as a label for about one year only. There exists a total of three different 7" releases on the Denner label, that all seem to hail from around 1960. They've originally sold for at Fr. 2,90 Swiss Franks, minus 8% Discount in Denner stamps (or Denner tokens), and were exclusively only ever available from one of the Denner supermarket shops. The Denner label-artwork used to be identical to the label-artwork and look of the Swiss "Disco-Club" club label (launched in the mid 50s). There could have been a connection. We believe that Disco-Club could have eventually released the three 7" records for the Denner supermarket.
