The American Harp Society, Inc. (AHS) is an American non-profit organization of harpists with over 3000 members, founded in 1962 and based in Bellingham, Massachusetts. Angela Schwarzkopf is a current AHS President and one of the Directors-at-Large on the Executive Committee. The Society maintains an official AHS Repository at The Library Of Congress and the International Harp Archives at Brigham Young University's Harold B. Lee Library.
American Harp Society organizes several recurring events, including a National Conference and the Summer Institute with the AHS National Competition. Since 1967, AHS has published The American Harp Journal, a bi-annual peer-reviewed publication series.
