Lost Children Net Label

Lost Children Net Label is a digital record label, originally based in the United Kingdom, and founded by Barry Rogers (3) in 2003 to release music by his own project, Loss Of A Child. Over the years, the label has released instrumental ambient, post-rock and math rock bands from around the world. All of the label's releases are distributed freely on the web, through websites like Archive.org, torrents and web servers (and eventually Bandcamp), and are protected through Creative Commons. In the mid-2000's, Loss Children became more of a collective, with Barry inviting other collaborators from The Silent Ballet to hold positions behind the scene. Some of these people included Jordan Volz, Aurelio Loyo, Joseph Sannicandro, Claire Bocquet, Jurgen ‘Sjugge’ Verhasselt, Mohammed Ashraf, Tom Butcher, Gary Davidson, Stephan Sherman and Richard White. Barry left the label in 2010, since lead by Joseph Sannicandro in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The Lost Children banner was also used for 100 installments of A CLOSER LISTEN's mix series from 2011-2018, and continues to occasionally release new music via Bandcamp.
