Liam Clancy released Farewell to Tarwaithie himself, to sell off stage. Hoger Petersen produced the album, and also helped with the manufacturing of the album. Petersen probably suggested the name Plainsong for his label and manufactured it for him using the Stony Plain name. Liam's album was the only one on the Plainsong label to his knowledge.
