Edison Bell Consolidated Phonograph Company
Настоящее имя: Edison Bell Consolidated Phonograph Company
From 1890 thru 1903, the largest cylinder record manufacturer in England was a succession of Edison-Bell companies. Its roots can be traced to the Edison United Phonograph Company, which was formed in 1890 in New Jersey to manufacture and market phonographs and graphophones outside of the United States and Canada. The Edison-Bell Phonograph Corporation, Ltd. was formed in London in 1892 to exclusively handle the British phonograph market. The Edison-Bell Consolidated Phonograph Company, Ltd. was formed following a corporate reconstruction in March, 1898. In 1909 Edison-Bell went into receivership. Its assets were later purchased by James E. Hough, who reorganized the company as J.E. Hough, Ltd.
