Country Comfort

From 1980 Bio: Considered Tidewater's Country Rock Headquarters, it was converted from an antique shop in 1974 into Country Comfort. Opening night the Hines Brothers were featured and soft drinks were served. After the club closed that night a car ran through the front, putting a twenty foot hole in the building. Three years later Country Comfort opened the upstairs of the club and last year owners Paul Tickle and Ted Yaeger opened up a patio, giving them even more room.
