Appalachia Sound Studios

Recording studio founded in 1971 by Joe Waters and located 7 miles south of Chillicothe, Ohio. Became The Recording Workshop (2) at the same location. See also the studio's vanity labels New Colony, Appalachia Sound Records, and Revelation Records, LTD, and house publishing company Lantern Light Music. Wayne Mitchell (3) is known to have worked there.
