Cistern Chapel

The Dan Harpole Cistern (colloquially referred to as the Cistern Chapel) at Fort Worden State Park, Port Townsend, Washington, US was available to be used by musicians and recording artists as part of Centrum, a nonprofit arts and education organization. The first formal recording allowed to be made in the cistern was Deep Listening in October 1988.
