Born after years of friendship and a couple of years sharing studio and decks together, Jef K and Rhythm&Soul will launch their new imprint this June – On A Mission Records. Based between Paris and Madrid, the label has been created to release hot grooves and keep the true spirit of House music alive, inspired by the classic labels and driven to match their timeless, quality ethos. The first release from Jef K and Rhythm&Soul under their new alias The Groove Brothers sets the mood of the imprint and future music to come. Classic House grooves, sampling, soulful sexy beats and of course collabs with artists that have been key figures in their musical upbringing. The first guest artist comes in the form of the legendary Nail, who remixes ‘Soul food café’ on The Groove Brothers EP. On A Mission Records… A mission from beyond to keep the real groove alive!
