Defunct Chicago-based distribution company. Redline Distribution (often listed as Red Line Distribution) was started by independent Chicago labels who wanted to form a community forum to help out the independent music scene. The company closed down in 2007. Started by Sinister Label, Walk In Cold Records, Harmless Records, Quincy Shanks, Arms Reach Recordings, Failed Experiment Records, Government Music, and Hewhocorrupts Inc. As of 2007, it was maintained by Quincy Shanks, Hewhocorrupts Inc., Fudge Sickill Records, Action Heights Records, Curtaincall Music, Underground Communique Records, and Forge Again Records. For the rap/hip-hop distributor, use Red Line Music Distribution.
