Bellevue (2)

This name only to be used for pre-1987 recordings. For post-1987 recordings use Theater Bellevue (currently not existing). Entertainment centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The building in which it is housed exists since around 1840. By than it housed two societies: Bellevue and Concordia. From 1899 it became solely Bellevue. The entertainment centre Bellevue had various halls over the year, among them theater halls, debate halls and cinemas. In 1987 it merged with Nieuwe De La Mar Theater into the combination Bellevue/Nieuwe de la Mar in which the entity Theater Bellevue started to be used. When Nieuwe De La Mar Theater closed in 2006, Theater Bellevue became an independent theater, as it still is today. Name variations as on one or more releases: - Theater Klein Bellevue
