Built in 1963 as Sing Studio by the musical family The LeFevres, and managed by Meurice LeFevre. Became LeFevre Sound Studios circa 1966. Billed as the oldest continually operating studio in Atlanta, it became Axis Sound Studio in the late 1970s, and is currently named Glenn Schick Mastering. According to Meurice LeFevre, it was the first master studio in the state of Georgia at the time. In 1967, the studio underwent a large renovation (for $400,000), Meurice first built an addition to the structure to double the size of the original building. Known engineers included Stan Dacus.
