First professional electroacustic music studio in former Czechoslovakia located in Pilsen established early in 1967 owing to activities mainly by Miloslav Kabeláč, Eduard Herzog and Vladimír Lébl. Its foundation was a result of hopeful development of electroacoustic music in Czechoslovakia in 1960s and the studio was in operation up until 1994 when merged with a more general service of Čs. Rozhlas Plzeň.
Also credited as “Electroacoustic studio of Czechoslovak Radio Plzeň”, “Electro-acoustic studio, Radio Pilsen”, “Electronic studio” (associated with Plzeň/Pilsen) or similar.
