Настоящее имя: Lowestoft South Pier Pavilion
Dating back to 1846, the original pavilion received substantial damage during the second world war.
A new pavilion was designed by architects Skipper and Corless and opened by the Duke of Edinburgh on May 2nd 1956.
Substantial alterations were made in 1974/5 with the shoreward end building replaced by a 220ft long leisure centre, the pavilion was also improved.
The seaward end was closed in 1987 due to structural problems. After refurbishment by the council the pier was reopened in June 1993.
During 2008 the pier once again went under major refurbishment.
