Chengdu Record Factory

The construction of a record factory in Chengdu was approved in 1968 and began in 1969. The factory officially began production in 1971. In 1983, it was placed under the administration of the China Record Company, or more specifically, under the newly-formed China Record Co. Chengdu Branch, which became China Record Chengdu Company in 1992.
