PT Hemagita Tama Record

Indonesian record company that operated in the 1990s, a distributor for Warner Music. In 1996, PT Warner Music Indonesia was established through the acquisition this company. Cassettes of foreign albums distributed by Hemagita Record, minus Malaysian albums, has the words Hanya untuk dijual di Indonesia within the cassette cover (= For sale in Indonesia only). The same words also appeared in foreign releases of PT. Aquarius Musikindo and PT EMI Indonesia, but this does not expand to EMI cassettes distributed by Warner Music. The album codes used are mixed, examples included HGT XXXX for albums of domestic singers and HA XXXX and HW XXXX for foreign albums. The album codes used in other countries is also used in Indonesian pressed cassettes.
